This is how you can make a quick and easy pattern...
1) Start by a new photoshop document (
File --> New).
2) The box where u put the sizes will come up... input these
------------------
Present size - Custom
Width - 5 - Pixels
Height - 5 - Pixels
Mode - RGB Colour
Contents - Transparent (this is the background)------------------
3) Zoom in all the way (1600%)
It sould look like this:
4)Now that you are zoomed in all the way you can start work on the pattern.
So grab out your '
PENCIL TOOL (t)'
(
). Also if it is not on
1PX then put it on it.
5) Now make a pattern, start off by just making one line on the left hand side
of the square and then the bottom. Like so:
6) Now you have your pattern..., but now u need to do this goto
Edit --> Define Pattern, then a box will come and name
your pattern, for example - 'Grid'.
Now Open up a Sig or something you want to add your pattern to.
7) Now grab out the
PAINT BUCKET tool
(
) and at the top of the screen
the paint bucket menu will appear like so:
Also use the settings i have and on the drop down menu click pattern
i3.tinypic.com/wm15dw.gif Now a box will appear and a pattern will show up in it
(
), select your pattern you made
and paint it onto your image.
AND YOUR DONE
This is what i came out wid
