Tired of having to re-select the WHOLE layer afteryou accidentally de-selected it? Then do this super quick and easy tutorial!
1. Click on the layer you want in the "layers" pallete (spelling?
).
2. Go to Selections > Select All.
3. Go to Selections > Float.
4. Go to Selections > Defloat.
And now, in just 4 easy steps, you've selected the layer!
I hope that took off a lot of stress!

Why not just press
ctrl+z to go back ?
And, actually Napalm, it's:
Ctrl+shift+d = defloat

No.. ctrl+d is to deselect, and ctrl+shift+d is to defloat.

ctrl+d = deselect, not defloat.
