This is kind of old, he'll likely never read your response. I agree he could told it in a different manner, but I also agree with him. It's annoying to see a lot of people starting to use 'icon' for 'avatar' even though it's nothing like an icon.

Well, as I understand Annie's first language isn't English, so it would probably be easy enough for her to mix the two up. No biggie, but Will did just log in yesterday, so the chances of him seeing that response are pretty good haha.

Well, even though her first language isn't English it's more of a "hype" or "trend" that they call it icons now. It's used a lot now that people just forget or don't even learn the word avatar (which might have 'happened' to Annie then). So it's a good thing to tell her anyhow.
