abandoned bc my nail lady quit her job for a different one, but she had a really
scary website so i wanted to help her out bc she did good work. didn't get farther than the home page though, oh well.
not quite how i'd do it if it were me but she was kind of an old fashioned lady and liked 90s design so this was the best thing i could do considering
I'm around and round we go

Definitely reminds me a tad of 90s design, but that isn't always a bad thing.
Hours being right on the front is a plus, I hate when companies have that hidden behind under stuff. Then you have no idea what button to click, about? contact? I'm glad this makes sense.
I'd put a little bit more color and zazz in the banner/logo area, maybe even in the menu. But I get that might've been limited from her input.
Definitely a great start, sorry it didn't get finished!

90s designs are more like geocities type of stuff haha. This is more like stuff 10 years ago and I actually think the style fits the website. And I definitely agree with smangii, you got all the important information in the front and very accessible!
TBH for what it is, I think it looks good. I feel like the menu text is way too big and/or needs more padding. Actually everything overall needs more padding imo.

Thanks folks :)
Yeah ummm she liked "big" menu text because of her assertion that all her clients were older ladies (they were) and would need bigger links.
Def agree on the padding. If I'd had more time to work on it I would've done that. She was a big believer though in only catering to the kinds of people who already frequented her, I remember making a cute Instagram graphic for her and she disliked it because it was "too young" and she "know(s) what her clients like", so. :x
