spiritjs.io/Figured I'd share this really neat tool that is in the works... and ask if anyone else has seen something similar or has a method for animation on the web?
I think Adobe is renaming Flash to Animate in their newest CC version, which is supposed to take flash animation timeline and convert to HTML5/css3 animations.
May or may not be a game changer, who knows!
sounds like fun on a bun!

I don't have anything for the web (though I guess you could use it for the web if you embed it?? lol), but
the animation software used by studio ghibli and the simpsons/futurama folks is becoming open-source. Not entirely relevant but I got excited when I saw animation in the title and my xanax-addled brain didn't finish the rest of the words.

What's the trend now for animation? I remember a couple years ago parallax was the big thing and now I rarely see it.
Would love to see this spiritjs in action tho.

Yeah, Flash Professional is already gone in the current version of Creative Cloud. Which is fine because Flash, like all of the other products that Adobe acquired when it bought Macromedia, is garbage tbh. Flash Player will be gone soon enough, too, thanks to all of its major security vulnerabilities, and lessening support -- especially on mobile devices.
