I've not made a JavaScript code in a very long time now, but I want to get some decent practice in now as I want to do some web development. Is coding for ProBoards as fun and challenging as it used to be? I don't want to do anything serious, just the odd code here or there to get me back into it before I move onto something more challenging. So I want to know if its as fun as before, if there is a wide variety of codes I could try to make and ideas on codes to make.
Thanks
I'm around and round we go

It's definitely fun. Takes some getting used to using the plugins instead of just freehand in the headers/footers (you can still do that, too!), but just a little tinkering around and you'll get the hang of it.
I like to get inspired by looking at what's out there already, have you visited the Plugin Library? Some are good, some are not so good. But there's plenty of ideas there that can be extended further.

Hmm, I hope the new plugin system isn't too fiddly. I'm still confused on the file type .pbp, not sure how to create one but I'm sure it will come with learning to use plugins. I did take a glance through the library here and over at PBS and nothing stood out, so I took a look at the v4 library here and found inspiration there instead. I plan to make an advanced RPG system, not seen one that's extremely big yet, hopefully there's still a want for a system like that, not sure if RP sites are as big as they were back in the day, but it will really get me back in JS.
So if anyone does read this and has any ideas on any features they would like to see in an RPG system, then I am open to ideas. I have a basic idea of what to implement but I've never used a system before so don't have a great idea on what things people want in a system like this. I might make a separate thread on it once I have the basics programmed.

It's not exactly a suggestion, but I'd be really interested in seeing what you come up whenever you do get around to doing it!
