Have I told you you are one of my favorite people?
Literally slapped this all together in maybe less than 24 hours total. Who needs sleep when you have juices flowing, amiright?

Looks fantastic, I think I like the last one more overall, but this one has its own appeal with minimalism.

Pretty impressive for 24 hours of work. I like the layout of this one quite a bit, and the color scheme.
I would be interested in a version of this using some elements from the last theme, like the imagery and the darker color scheme.

Thank you
Kai and
elli !
I did a very VERY crappy job coding the last one, it ran so heavy and felt so crowded. Mostly since the starting base was my jumble of code for v5 + pb default jumble of code. For this theme, I am starting much more clean, much more editable since I stripped everything from it. Much easier to add new features from a blank slate than trying to edit existing features and styles. At least in my opinion.
elli aw I like the light color scheme... feels more breathable. Could totally be my tiny monitor, though.
Let me know if you want any specific elements back, I will do my best to incorporate.

Love the new look! Very minimalist which I love. However, I believe you are missing a few things? I can't seem to access my bookmarks. Also, I think it would be better if the shoutbox was fixed instead of the forum spanning out as you passed it but that's just me.

@trinityblair Thank you for your feedback! Glad you like
I actually totally forgot about bookmarks and notifications... WOOPS. Both of them don't work right now, crap.
I actually tried the fixed shoutbox at first but couldn't get it to overflow properly, I think I was just too sleepy to redo it. I do appreciate the suggestion though, I can totally add a fixed option/toggle for the shoutbox.

Also, just noticed. The participated threads are gone too, haha. And no information center?
Oh, and I love how you added OP to the user's name in posts! Really good idea. But seriously, I'm jealous of the simplicity... I have been wanting to do something simple like this but can't seem to do it and include ALL of the things people usually like having like the notifications and whatnot.
We'll burn that bridge when we come to it.

I like. The tags (OP, Moderator) next to profile names are a nice touch.
Some niggles:
- The sidebar animating open/shut when scrolling is annoying, I'd prefer it locked open.
- No breadcrumbs to get back to the parent board/homepage when viewing a thread.
- Would be nice to have users online somewhere more visible, maybe above the shoutbox?
- Doesn't use the comic sans SI logo
Thing I like like like:
- Homepage â¤
- Profile pages, while a bit lacking in info, look sweeeet
- ONLY 24 HOURS WHAT
But overall freaking awesome. Nice job! đ

It might be more of an afterthought, but I tried to incorporate notifications and bookmarks back in... let me know what you guys think!
(Also please send me PMs and tags so I can actually test the notifications, HA)
ăľă¤ă đ Thank you for your feedback! That is exactly what I wanted. Yes indeed I am missing the breadcrumbs, and @trinityblair gave me an idea of a toggle for the shoutbox to have it fixed. Do you mean you prefer the locked full width of content or you prefer the shoutbox locked/fixed?

Smangii I find the animation when it collapses very jarring, so I'd prefer it always locked to the full width of content. Having it position:fixed would probably be cool.
The notifications/logout/message stuff looks neat. Nice.
EDIT: re position:fixed, maybe make it start scrolling when the viewport is scrolled past the title bar/header?

ăľă¤ă đ That is originally what I wanted when it would be fixed, however I would need to make the shoutbox itself scroll so that you could reach the end/reply stuff. The double scrollbar that would be on the right side was bugging the heck out of me, ha. I almost want it to be fixed from the bottom... if that makes sense. The bottom points of the shoutbox would move instead of top points?
We'll burn that bridge when we come to it.

How you describe fixed from the bottom sounds ideal. Does "position: fixed; bottom: 0px;" not make it stick from the bottom of the positioned element?
sounds like fun on a bun!

Smangii - smangles idk if this is super important to you but on iphone the right hand side of the forum is slightly cut off. Also the "switch to mobile" text is left aligned and it looks weird.
sounds like fun on a bun!

alsooooo
1. mobile quick reply view, button is cut off
2. mobile full reply page blew up

Do things look normal in landscape mode? Just wondering if its a width thing or if I totally screwed up laying things out

looks much better landscape.

Much better! However I got a little confused when I didn't see the notification number next to the individual icons. But that was just me.

I am about 95% where I want to be with the shoutbox, I think...
Also added breadcrumbs back and made some small tweaks.
Bedtime for me!

Smangii breadcrumbs look great đ
I'm assuming it's still WIP, but the shoutbox position is stuck with just the bottom of the text box at the top of the viewport when scrolling for me

ăľă¤ă đ The bottom text is most recent, so that should be what you are seeing.

I have a suggestion for the shoutbox. Once the shoutbox reaches the top of the window, force it fixed by fixing the form at the bottom and then forcing the message container separately with top: 0; and bottom: 0+the height of the form;. This way, no matter what screen resolution, it will always be maxed and it will scroll.
I did this on my Facebook theme.
